If you're thinking about where to travel this year, where to go, or where to move abroad in 2024, the Nevis economic citizenship program brings the right opportunity. The reason why we're discussing the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis is because of its important steps toward sustainability and innovation in 2023.

Are you looking for citizenship? Why choose Saint Kitts - 2024

A country committed to creating a cleaner environment

Prospects for 2024 show us a positive picture when it comes to Saint Kitts and Nevis and its environmental commitment. When discussing this year's budget on December 14th, the Minister of the Sustainable Development Department announced the government's intentions to create a cleaner country for visitors, residents, and citizens. This is definitely a plus when one is considering where to go or where to move abroad in 2024 as it speaks of a healthy initiative focused on wellbeing for the population. It also shows an intention toward innovation when it comes to the topics that are most relevant in our century.

With this came special measures including the release of new collection routes to pick up bulky waste. Dr. Clarke, head of the above-mentioned department, announced that there has been a half-a-million-dollar investment mainly focused on improving cleaning procedures. In her words, these align not only with the government's purpose of strengthening the country's economy but also with enhancing personal health.

Through the Nevis citizenship by investment program, many foreigners can now become citizens and inhabitants of Saint Kitts and Nevis and, like all the population, were encouraged by Doctor Clarke to develop greater awareness and to take responsibility when it comes to waste management.

Saint Kitts and Nevis's sustainability efforts are becoming evident before our eyes especially since the Mundo team found this news approximately one month ago. Saint Kitts and Nevis closed the year embarking on ambitious projects by boosting local agricultural production. Thus, the corresponding ministry has released a policy is to support local farmers.

The proposal mainly consists of building greenhouse villages across the country and the first one is already being constructed in the Brothersons Estate region.

On December 14th, Samal Duggins, the Minister of agriculture announced the acquisition and arrival of the greenhouses ordered by the government. Thus, the first face of the project will consist of building 50 advanced greenhouses whose purpose will be to generate mass production of priority crops.

Besides offering competitive costs to farmers in exchange for the greenhouse villages the program also contemplates revitalizing several already set up facilities that are currently out of order.

In December, the minister of agriculture announced that they expect to have 100 active greenhouses in Saint Kitts and Nevis by the end of the year.

Where to travel this year? By getting Nevis citizenship by investment, you'll be accessing a country with good international relationships

As we established in one of our articles last year St Kitts and Nevis is one of the countries that now facilitates access to Canada. Fortunately, the cooperation didn't stop there and on December 5th, 2023, the Dubai Climate Conference was the scenario for these two countries to show their mutual support again.

The above-mentioned Joyelle Clarke met with the minister of Environment and Climate Change of Canada at the St Kitts and Nevis pavilion in Dubai.

Thanks to this encounter the federation joined the Nature Champions Network, an initiative originated in Canada and that points to intensifying global action to protect 30% of sea and land by the end of the decade. Furthermore, the minister invited Doctor Clarke to a conference in Ottawa on plastic and pollution which will be held in April 2024.

Saint Kitts and Nevis prospects for 2024: where to travel and where to establish your second home?

The Nevis citizenship requirements include basically the possibility to become eligible for citizenship in either of the following ways: government donation and real estate investment. While the former entails a lower sum, the latter constitutes an excellent investment opportunity with the possibility to get capital gains or returns in the future. Besides, all applicants must pay government and legal fees and undergo a due diligence process to prove that they have impeccable character.

Thus, Nevis citizenship requirements are quite accessible and the program constitutes a great answer to the question “where to go and get a second home or where to move abroad in 2024”.
